Washington County Fair

The Washington County Fair is a long-standing annual community tradition celebrating agriculture, youth development, and local culture in Washington County, Kansas. Held each summer at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Washington, this fair brings together residents and visitors for a full week of exhibits, entertainment, competitions, and family-friendly fun.

Typically taking place in July (with recent events scheduled around mid-July) each year, the fair features a wide range of activities that highlight the region’s agricultural roots and community spirit. Attendees can enjoy livestock shows, 4-H and FFA exhibitions, home arts and crafts displays, carnival rides, food vendors, and livestock competitions.

In addition to traditional fair attractions, the event often includes special contests and entertainment, such as photography contests, Queen competitions, horseshoe tournaments, and other engaging activities for all ages.
